What is Academy Events?

Academy Events promotes gigs of all sizes and genres, established acts, as well as unsigned bands to support the rising talent of the future.

Academy Events is a division of Academy Music Group (AMG), owners and operators of O2 Academy venues in London (Brixton, Islington), Birmingham, Bristol, Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Newcastle and Oxford as well as West London's O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire.

The range of different sized AMG venues allows Academy Events to promote artists throughout varying stages of their careers, with many acts starting off at AMG's smaller venues, the perfect stage for fresh, up and coming talent in an intimate setting. Just to prove it, The Libertines started out with an Academy Events show well before they hit the big time.
